Background
Pharmaxis, is a pharmacy network, founded in 2003. Months before its foundation, a leading multinational company (in the cosmetics industry) had organized intensive seminars in the Category Management field, for selected pharmacists who had strong vision for their enterprises. During these seminars, the need for better organization and exploitation of resources of the Greek pharmacy and the Greek pharmacist was identified, among the participating pharmacists. With this vision in mind, Pharmaxis was created.
Thus, the main goal of its creation, is to create and develop the modern and competitive pharmacy, in an era of changes, where the environment, the market and the requirements of consumers/patients rapidly change.
Vision
Our vision, is Pharmaxis to:
- Constitute the main mean of growth of pharmacies, in order to provide top level health services to the final consumer/patient.
- Enrich the diachronic presence of Greek pharmacists, with management and scientific confidence.
- Contribute in the creation and maintenance of pharmacies with high profitability and increasing turnover, via relations with the market and the consumer/patient, of the type: Win-Win-Win.
Philosophy
Pharmaxis is a shield of the collaboration of drugstores with anthropocentric character, having enterprising future and prospects, while simultaneously it develops a bidirectional surplus value between company and pharmacy.
Structure
Pharmaxis took at her way the title “company of social intervention”. With its innovative founding statute (where all shareholders possess exactly the same amount of stocks), its revolutionary participative administration by its pharmacists-members, with the support of well established executives, it compelled similar movement to totally respect the Pharmaceutical legislation and it also influenced their course.
For our pharmacists, the dispensation of medicines and provision of pharmaceutical care to their patients is a very big responsibility. Undertaking this great responsibility, requires vigilance, hard work and continuously learning mentality. The objectives of Pharmaxis, in order to be fullfilled, require members-scientists of the pharmaceutical community with disposal to "unlearn and re-learn" and vice versa.
Pharmaxis is managed by Pharmaxis. The total of pharmacists-scientists is organized in project offices that are supported by executives, and after careful planning , they implement the project that they have undertaken. Specifically, the company is structured in the following project offices:

- Marketing
- IT infrastructure
- Sales
Each pharmacist can be an active member in the amount of offices she has disposal, knowledge and time.
Pharmaxis is managed by members-pharmacists in an innovative way. Every idea is evaluated and it can be transformed in a service that will offer to the company.
